This was my first time having hot pot and honestly I will be coming back! The experience, the service, the atmosphere, the decor and overall the food were amazing. Every single member of staff was kind and service was impeccable. The chicken and beef is also halal.

Loved the food, we did the hot pot with two choices of broth, spicy and coconut chicken. The meat and veggies were really tasty, especially the king prawns and mushrooms. Staff were really helpful recommending what we should try. The spicy broth even on the mildest option was very spicy but we were advised well on this and it was lovely. Would definitely go again.

Came for the feast which they serve 12-4pm everyday. Highly highly recommend it! Possibly the best meal / experience I’ve ever had. At 38 each we felt it was worth every penny. The staff the excellent too, helping us on our first visit, explaining what to do. We will be back soon!

10/10 hotpot place. To start the service is IMPECCABLE, we came with a friend that had allergy and the staff was so cautious about what he could or could not eat, they even provided the menu and crossed off things that may have been a potential allergen. Our main server was a older Asian man and he was super super friendly, took all our requests and provided us such an amazing experience with his humour and service, he did the same to other tables too you could see how great his experience with the restaurant was. Definitely a significant part to the restaurant! Now for the food, the hotpot broth was said to be made freshly in house and made to order, we ordered the mushroom broth and the signature mild spicy broth, both were incredibly rich in flavours and the chefs letting us know there was no allergens in this gave us the confidence that everything was made fresh. We went for the 12-4pm all you can eat buffet and it was sooo worth it! A huge variety of meats, of different cuts and flavours and also loads of seafoods and carbs too. All prepared to top quality and the meats blew other hotpot restaurants out of the water as everything tasted to fresh and tender. Price is on the dearer side but I would definitely go again as I think it’s 100% worth. What makes it 10/10 is the combination of food, service and atmosphere. You can tell that the restaurant cares about quality of food and customers here!

We had never been to a hot pot restaurant before but Tao exceeded all our expectations. The food was great and really impressive value with the all you can eat deal for only 38 per person. And above all, the service was amazing with helpful and friendly staff, especially Chi and another gentleman. Would definitely come here again!

Tao Leeds: The Hottest Hotpot Spot Leeds has a new darling on the dining scene, and it goes by the name Tao. This Cantonese hotpot haven is as much about the vibe as it is about the food. From its chic interiors to the buzz of trendy diners, Tao oozes style, making it a must-visit for foodies and fashionistas alike. The menu is where Tao truly shines, offering an array of exceptional ingredients that set it apart from the competition. The crab roe in prawn mash was a standout dish—a luxurious blend of flavors that’s worth savoring. While the quality is undeniable, the price tag reflects the upscale experience, so expect to indulge both your palate and your wallet. What truly elevated the experience, though, was Stewart, our server for the evening. His friendly demeanor, in-depth knowledge of the menu, and charming approach to hospitality made the meal feel even more special. For a night of culinary brilliance with a touch of trendsetting decadence, Tao Leeds is the place to be.
